Dr. Kaylee Conlan, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Kaylee is a West Texas Native and second-generation chiropractor, growing up in Lubbock with a large family. She and all her siblings have been under chiropractic care by her dad from the time they were born!
She attended Baylor University (Sic ‘Em), where she received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, knowing she wanted to pursue a career where she could help families live to their fullest potential and thrive in all they do, just as her dad had done for her and so many families.
After graduation, she continued her studies to attain her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Georgia, where she graduated as the valedictorian of her class along with earning the Clinical Excellence Award to commend her outstanding service and care for her patients during the program.
Dr. Kaylee is in the process of completing her post-doctorate certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
She is trained and certified in Webster Technique, as well as trained in various other techniques such as Torque Release Technique and MC2 Tonal Technique.
She has also done extensive training through the Pediatric Experience, and will receive her Certificate of Proficiency in Pediatric and Family Chiropractic in October 2024.
Dr. Kaylee is committed to constantly learning how to better serve her patients and her community through chiropractic care and education!
Dr. Denise Roper, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Denise has called Waco home for over 25 years and feels deeply honored to serve her community at Salt + Light Waco through chiropractic care that is grounded, attuned, and supportive to the body’s God-given wisdom. Having witnessed the city’s growth and changing seasons over the years, she is passionate about caring for its future by supporting individuals and families in building health that is steady, sustainable, and deeply connected.
Dr. Denise’s approach to care is grounded in relationship. She is committed to creating a calm, welcoming space where stress can soften, stories can be shared, and individuals feel truly seen and supported. She offers gentle, nervous system–focused chiropractic care for the whole family, with a special heart for mothers, babies, and kiddos—supporting them through all of life’s transitions, exciting milestones, and everything in between.
Dr. Denise earned her degree in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University and her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University. She is trained in various techniques, such as MC2 Tonal and Webster Technique, and is completing advanced post-doctoral training in perinatal and pediatric chiropractic care through the ICPA. She also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Pediatric and Family Chiropractic through PX Docs. Her background as a DONA-trained Birth Doula also allows her to support mothers and families with steadiness, presence, and deep respect for the natural rhythms of pregnancy, birth, and early life.
Dr. Denise views chiropractic care as a way to help restore balance and support the body’s Innate capacity to heal, adapt, and self-regulate. She believes the body thrives when given the right conditions—safety, connection, and gentle support—and considers it a privilege to walk alongside families as they cultivate health from the inside out, one season at a time.
Outside of the office, Dr. Denise finds joy in spending time with her husband, Richard, their son Silas, and twin babies, Selah and Shepherd. She loves slow mornings, supporting local businesses, discovering cozy coffee shops and good food, and spending time antique and thrift shopping around town.
Dr. Samantha Bielat, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Samantha is a Houston native who grew up on the water in Seabrook, where her faith, family, and appreciation for God’s creation were deeply rooted from an early age. Surrounded by a close-knit community and guided by a strong foundation of faith, she learned the importance of caring for others and serving with purpose—values that continue to shape both her life and her approach to chiropractic care.
Dr. Samantha attended The University of Alabama, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Art History. During her undergraduate years, she developed a strong appreciation for both science and the human experience, laying the foundation for her future career in healthcare.
Her passion for chiropractic care began early, as she received wellness chiropractic care throughout high school while competing as a varsity lacrosse and track athlete. These experiences not only supported her athletic performance and recovery but also introduced her to the powerful role chiropractic care can play in overall health and well-being.
While working in a chiropractic office during college, Dr. Samantha witnessed firsthand the process and life-changing results of chiropractic care. It was there that she truly fell in love with the profession, inspiring her decision to pursue a chiropractic career.
She went on to attend Texas Chiropractic College, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. During her time at TCC, Dr. Samantha served as President of the Perinatal and Pediatric Council, reflecting her longstanding passion for caring for children and families.
Dr. Samantha is proficient in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is dedicated to providing gentle, effective care tailored to the unique needs of women, children, and families. She remains committed to lifelong learning and serving her community through compassionate chiropractic care and education.
